Code Section50-1-201, et seq.
Policy on Union Membership, Organization, etc. It is unlawful to deny employment because of affiliation or nonaffiliation with a labor union.
Prohibited ActivityContracts for exclusion from employment because of affiliation or nonaffiliation with labor union; exclusion from employment for payment or failure to pay union dues.
PenaltiesClass A misdemeanor; imprisoned for not greater than 11 months and 29 days or fine not to exceed $2,500 or both. (40-35-111)
