With all this fun and excitement, it’s easy to forget that some people need to go to court in Alachua County. If are required to visit the courthouse as a juror, witness, or party in Gainesville, here’s a list of those in your area.
Parking: You can park at the Southwest Downtown Parking Garage located at 68 SW 2nd Street. Also consider public transportation.
Divisions: Civil, Family, Small Claims, County court
Note: The County and small claims division handles misdemeanors, small claims (up to $5,000) and all civil up to $15,000, and traffic matters.
Parking: Parking is available in the Gainesville Downtown Parking garage at 220 SE 2nd Ave. Traveling east on University Ave. turn right on SE 1st St. Proceed two blocks, turn right at SE 2nd Ave. The entrance to the parking garage is on the right.
